After graduating from Marcellin College in 2018, Trent Bianco took a “gap” year in 2019 to focus his effort on his final junior AFL football season at the Oakleigh Chargers, with the plan to enter the AFL system and be a professional football player the year after.
With much of his time focussed on training and playing in 2019, Trent continued to develop an interest in art and design that stemmed back from his high school years. As the year progressed, Trent spent more of his spare time on art and design, giving him an outlet away from his football and it became the catalyst for starting his own street wear apparel brand, T.B Threads, in August 2019.
Today the T.B Threads range has grown to include hoodies, t-shirts, track pants, beanies, hats and many more streetwear products, with each piece featuring his T.B Threads branding. Whilst the brand has grown, so too has Trent’s professional career, having been signed to the Collingwood Football club late 2019 as he had planned and then playing his first professional AFL senior game in round 11, 2021.
T.B Threads continues to provide Trent with an outlet from his professional sporting life, allowing him to explore his creative talents by developing new product designs. The brand is also allowing Trent to develop his business acumen through engaging new customers and suppliers and developing new sales channels for T.B Threads.
